Carson City School District approached my agency with a request to revamp their logo and branding. Their distinctiveness lies in being located in Nevada's capital city, nestled among mountains that feature a prominent 'C' spray-painted onto one of those peaks. Eager to portray themselves as a progressive and forward-thinking school district, they sought a logo that exudes modernity, capturing their unique identity and circumstances.
I took on the challenge of crafting a brand identity that not only represented their progressive spirit but also paid homage to their geographical setting. Beyond designing the logo and branding elements, I developed a comprehensive standards manual to ensure visual consistency and compliance across all their future branding endeavors. This manual serves as a roadmap for maintaining the modern and distinctive look and feel I created, allowing the Carson City School District to confidently communicate their unique characteristics to their community and beyond.
